Introduction
Get First Aid and CPR training and certification at ERICC. As a Canadian Red Cross partner, we offer courses including Standard First Aid, CPR Level C .
This course provides first aid and CPR-C training for workplace requirements or emergency preparedness at home.
First time we offer two day training. Theory and Practical can be done hybrid or in-person.
Renewal can be done in one day in person.
Theory is approximately an eight-hour online module.

Graduation Requirements
To successfully meet the program outcomes the student must:
- Achieve a minimum mark of 65% in all of the module assignments and exams
- Achieve a satisfactory rating in the internship evaluation.


Admission Requirements
- An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent; or is at least 18 years of age or older and pass an entry test.
- Proof of English proficiency required for international students Or ERICC Academic Prequisites 1 and 2
Placement Requirements
Medical form filled by a certified physician. The form will be provided by the college with the necessary information.

Typical Program Structure:
- Total Hours: 1000 hours (675 Theory + 325 Practicum).
- Theory: 675 hours, often delivered online, in-person, or hybrid.
- Practicum: 325 hours, split into two mandatory placements (infant/toddler & preschool).
- Duration: 9-12 months for a full-time diploma.
